This policy explains how your medication gets from the pharmacy to your door, what to check when it arrives, and what to do if something goes wrong. WellPeps, a Wyoming corporation (“WellPeps,” “we” or “us”), is not a pharmacy and does not prepare or ship medication. A state-licensed pharmacy does.

1. The short version

Standard shipping is included in your monthly price.

Cold medicines

Some medicines, such as injections, ship in cold packaging. Follow your label.

Bring it in the same day. Check the label, the seal and the temperature. Store it as the label says.

If something is wrong

Do not use it. Contact the pharmacy and [email protected].

Returns

Compounded medication generally cannot be returned once it has shipped.

2. Who ships your medication

When your clinician prescribes a medication, the prescription goes to a state-licensed pharmacy. The pharmacy prepares your medication and ships it to you. Your label names the pharmacy. WellPeps does not hold, prepare or ship medication. Your clinician, not WellPeps, decides which medication you receive.

The pharmacies we work with are independent businesses. Today they are: OSI / Scriptful Rx, 433 Plaza Real, Suite 275, Boca Raton, FL 33432.

Your clinician and WellPeps choose a pharmacy that is licensed to ship to your state and that can prepare your prescription. If you would like a different pharmacy, ask your clinician. Some compounded prescriptions cannot be moved to another pharmacy.

Some of your medication may be compounded. A compounded medication is made by a pharmacy for you, based on your prescription. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved. To learn more, read the Compounded Medication Disclosure and Consent.

3. Where we ship

  • We ship only to a street address in a state we serve: all 50 states. The States We Serve page has the current list.
  • We do not ship outside the United States. We do not ship to PO boxes, military addresses or U.S. territories.
  • Your shipping address must be in a state where your clinician can treat you and the pharmacy can ship.
  • We ship only to you. Your medication is for the person named on the label and cannot be sent to someone else.

4. What shipping costs

Standard shipping is included in your monthly price. There is no separate shipping charge. If a replacement is due under this policy or the Refund, Cancellation and Auto-Renewal Policy, we do not charge for it or for its shipping. Lab tests are billed separately and are not part of your monthly price.

5. How long it takes

Step

What happens

How long

1. Clinician review

A licensed clinician reviews your answers. They may ask you for more information.

As soon as your clinician can review it.

2. Pharmacy prepares

If prescribed, the pharmacy receives the prescription and prepares your medication. Compounded medicine is made for you.

Varies by pharmacy and medication.

3. Pharmacy ships

The pharmacy hands the package to a carrier and you get tracking.

You get tracking from the pharmacy or the carrier.

4. Carrier delivers

The carrier brings the package to your address.

Varies by carrier and where you live.

These times vary and are estimates. They can be longer around holidays, in bad weather, when a medication is on backorder, or when we or your clinician need more information from you. We cannot promise a delivery date. Do not wait until you run out to plan your next order.

6. Carriers and signatures

The pharmacy chooses the carrier and the delivery service. Rules about signatures and packaging differ by pharmacy and by medication. Some shipments need an adult signature. Your shipping email will tell you.

States where the pharmacy is licensed to ship

If a signature is needed and no one is home, the carrier will leave a notice or try again. Do not leave medication outside, in a car, in a mailbox or in a hot or very cold place. Choose an address where someone can receive the package.

7. Medicines that must stay cold

Some medicines, especially injections, must be kept cold. The pharmacy packs them to stay cold while they travel, for example in insulated packaging with cold packs. Your label tells you whether your medicine must be refrigerated. Follow your label.

  • Bring the package inside the day it arrives. Do not leave it on a porch, in a car, in a garage or in a mailbox.
  • If your label says to refrigerate, put the medication in the refrigerator right away.
  • If your label says to refrigerate and the package feels warm, the cold packs are no longer cold, or the package was left in heat or sun, do not use the medication. Contact the pharmacy and [email protected] before you use it. The pharmacy decides whether it is still safe to use. Do not decide for yourself because it looks fine.
  • If the medication arrives frozen, cloudy, discolored or with particles in it, do not use it. Contact the pharmacy.
  • Do not assume storage rules from an earlier shipment, another pharmacy or a different medicine apply. Your current label controls.
  • Keep medication, needles and syringes out of reach of children and pets.

8. When your package arrives

  1. Bring it inside and open it the same day.
  2. Check the label: your name, the medication name, the strength, the directions, the pharmacy name and the date by which to use it.
  3. Check the package: the seal is not broken, nothing is leaking or cracked, and nothing is missing (such as needles or syringes, if they come with your medication).
  4. Check the temperature as described in Section 7.
  5. Store the medication the way your label says.
  6. If anything is wrong, do not use the medication. Take photos of the label, the package and the shipping label, and contact the pharmacy and [email protected] within 7 days after delivery. If you think the medication was exposed to heat or the packaging failed, tell us as soon as you can and before you use it.
  7. Keep the packaging until you are sure everything is right.

Your prescription label and the pharmacy’s instructions always come first. For dosing and storage safety, read the safety information for your treatment: GLP-1 Medication Safety Information and Acknowledgment; Sexual Health Medication Safety Information and Acknowledgment; Hair Loss Medication Safety Information and Acknowledgment; or Healthy Aging and Vitality Medication Safety Information and Acknowledgment.

9. Delays, backorders and shortages

Your order can be delayed if the pharmacy is busy, an ingredient is short, a carrier is late, the weather is bad, there is a problem with your address, your clinician needs information from you, or a payment did not go through. The pharmacy or WellPeps will tell you if your order is delayed.

  • If a medication is on backorder, you can wait, ask your clinician whether another option is right for you (your clinician decides), or cancel and receive a full refund of the order that was not filled. See the Refund, Cancellation and Auto-Renewal Policy, Section 5.5.
  • If your order has not shipped within 14 days after we charged you, you can cancel it and receive a full refund.
  • If you are about to run out because of a delay, message your clinician in the patient portal. Do not stretch, skip or change doses on your own, and do not use medicine from another source.

10. Your address

  • Give us a complete, accurate address and a phone number the carrier can use. We may check your address and identity before an order ships. An order may be held until we can confirm.
  • To change your address, tell us right away at [email protected] or in your patient portal. We can change it only before the pharmacy ships. After that, we cannot redirect the package. You can ask the carrier to hold or redirect it, if the carrier allows.
  • If you move, update your address before your next renewal. We can ship only to states we serve.
  • We do not offer a pause. If you will be away, update your address to a place where you can receive and store your medication, or cancel and restart later.
  • We are not responsible for a package that goes to the address you gave us, if that address was wrong or incomplete.

11. Lost, damaged or heat-exposed packages

If your package is damaged, was exposed to heat, has a broken seal or leak, or arrives with the wrong medication, do not use it. If it does not arrive, or the carrier says it was delivered and you do not have it, follow these steps.

  1. Contact the pharmacy named on the label (or on the shipping email) and [email protected]. Do this within 7 days after the package arrives (for heat exposure, as soon as you can and before you use it), or within 7 days after the expected delivery date if it did not arrive. Reporting later does not take away your rights for a problem you could not reasonably have found sooner (Refund, Cancellation and Auto-Renewal Policy, Section 5.4).
  2. Send photos of the package, the label and any damage.
  3. Keep the original packaging and the product until the pharmacy tells you what to do. Do not mail anything back unless the pharmacy or WellPeps tells you to in writing.

The pharmacy works with the carrier to find out what happened and decides whether a product is safe to use. Your clinician confirms that a replacement is right for you. We then send a replacement at no charge or, if one cannot be sent, refund that month’s charge, as the Refund, Cancellation and Auto-Renewal Policy (Sections 5.3 and 5.4) says.

If you have symptoms or think you used a product that was damaged or too warm, message your clinician in the patient portal, and call 911 if it is an emergency. You can also report a side effect or a product problem to FDA MedWatch at www.fda.gov/medwatch or 1-800-FDA-1088.

12. Returns

Compounded medication generally cannot be returned, restocked or sent out again once it has shipped. State pharmacy rules generally do not allow a pharmacy to take back a dispensed prescription medicine and give it to another patient. For that reason we do not accept returns or exchanges because you changed your mind, had side effects, or want a different dose. Talk to your clinician about those things.

Who decides what:

  • Whether a medication is safe to use or must be replaced: the dispensing pharmacy.
  • Whether a replacement or a different medication is right for you: your clinician.
  • Whether you are due a refund: WellPeps, under the Refund, Cancellation and Auto-Renewal Policy.

If you are asked to send a product back, the pharmacy or WellPeps will tell you in writing how to do it. Do not mail medication to WellPeps.

13. Needles, syringes and disposal

If your treatment includes injections, put used needles and syringes in a sharps container right away. Do not throw loose needles in household trash. Rules for throwing away sharps differ by state and city, and some places do not allow sharps in household trash at all. Ask your pharmacy or your local health department where to get a sharps container and where to drop it off. For injection and disposal safety, read the GLP-1 Medication Safety Information and Acknowledgment. For unused or expired medication, ask your pharmacy about take-back options. Do not share it with anyone.

14. Recalls and safety notices

If a product you received is recalled, the pharmacy or WellPeps will contact you at the email address on your account. Do not use a recalled product. Keep your contact details current so we can reach you.

15. Your responsibilities

  • Give us an accurate address and keep it current.
  • Be available to receive your package, or choose an address where someone is.
  • Bring the package inside promptly and store the medication as your label says.
  • Check your order when it arrives and report a problem within the time in this policy.
  • Use medication only as your clinician and label direct, and never share it.
  • Order ahead. Do not wait until you run out.
